Hi everyone,
I was thinking that it may be quicker if I cut the steel wire straight instead of junior hacksaw and twisting method. But I was wondering how hard is the steel wire in SWA cable! Is it similar to piano wire?
I guess snips will always do the task, but can I use side cutter or...
Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know where I can buy a kopex/flexible conduit cutter? A few have said they exist but I can't find one anywhere! I have seen the RotoCut tool but not sure if this is what I'm after.
Thanks

So time has come to buy myself one.
Any recommendations on both items please - will get used no more than about 12 times/year, so don't really want to spend megga bucks on the drill if poss...
Been using mine today and I just love the reactions from plumbers, It takes them ages to core a hole using there cheapo cutters, these cut through with ease.

Somebody mentioned these to me the other day. Silverline do one for £30 (plus arbour) with 5 plugs. Anybody use one and what are the advantages and disadvantages please?
Looking at one from Toolstation for about £22 and then another tenner for 5 inserts. Its 110mm rather than 127mm diameter. Got to try and find where cables come up under an upstairs floor. Any comments as to whether a good buy or not?
