Dimmer Switch question?

Hi all, long time no speak (been to Thailand). In my bedroom my main light is a metal strip with 4 spotlights on it, I was just wondering can you have a dimmer on these or does it **** em up? Also do I have to **** around with anything in the cieling or is it just a case of taking the 1 way...

Dimmer switch wont fit!

Does anyone know of a 1 gang 2 way dimmer switch that will fit into a 15mm metal back box?

remote controlled dimmer switch

Hi all, I'm thinking of buying a couple of remote controlled dimmer switches (the ones that can learn from any remote control) or so i been told! i know nothing about them so before diving in and buying them, do i need a neutral in the switch circuit?

Dimmer Switch ?

Hi all, im a bit embaressed to ask this one, as im City and Guilds qualified ! :- Is it ok to fit a dimmer switch to control a ceiling light that has a transformer fitted in it ?? The light in question has 4 x halogen capsule bulbs in it, that are low voltage. Thanks in advance for your help.

Dimmer Switch

Had a phone call the other day regarding a dimmer switch and 5 x 50watt dichroic lamps. Caller said that when switching off the lights which are on a dimmer switch the was a flash from one and all the lights went out plus MCB tripped. They reset the MCB but the lights in that room would not...

Wiring A Dimmer Switch
