EICR Classification Code for downlights that are not fire rated

Hi Gents Just wanted opinions on the above I know there are various factors that could sway opinion... Customers that have a large house with downlights throughout are not too pleased when you give them a four figure quote to rip out the lot...... Cheers Dave

LED downlights for clubhouse

Hi there, I have just priced up to install a load of commercial style round LED downlights (18w) in a clubhouse. I have allowed for non-dimmable and a couple of emergency fittings. After saying at the quotation stage that they didn't want dimmable they now want to know the how much it would cost...

Changing 12V Downlights to GU10 LEDs

Does anybody here have issues with changing 12V lamps to GU10 LED lamps in the same fitting? Obviously involves taking out the transformer, changing the lamp holder and putting the fitting back. I only ask because: a) The tin cans usually have a label that says 12V b) The tin cans are not...
