    I have recently bought a reel of SMD LED strip lighting. I know it's suggested that you use an LED driver to power these but they seem very expensive. I was wandering if I could use a standard electronic transformer used for powering LV spotlights, as long as I meet the minimum load? I struggle...

    Problem with light switch. Please Help.

    Recently my light for the upstairs stopped working. So I replaced the bulb, now it is working but now the switch is making some noise and the light dimms sometimes! Can anyone tell me the reason for this and how to fix it? Many Thanks

    Switch mode power supplies??

    Greetings. I know that switch mode power supplies can create radio interference and also neutral harmonic currents but does anyone know why? Does anyone know why the components inside the power supplies can cause radio interference and/or neutral harmonics? Thanks very much.

    I'm on the look out for a decent but compact cordless drill/driver doesn't need to be hammer drill etc just for screw driving screws but be able to change bit example for hex drive tech screws etc screwing into plastic cladding fitting some plastic pipe clips etc for a fire alarm air sampling...

    Led strips

    Just a quick one I'm looking to install these in a kitchen under some units, I want to wire them using a switch on the wall, however every website I've seen shows them wired with a plug, is it possible to wire them using conventional wiring or do they have to have a plug on them? thanks chris

    Can All LED's Be Dimmed?

    Can any LED lighting be dimmed with the correct dimmer module? Specifically, this Dimmer Switch with these LED lights? If not, then can the aforementioned dimmer switch be used with the LED lights, or is this likely to damage the lights themselves?

    what do you use...!! i currently use a lump hammer but after nearly removing my apprentices arm other month im looking at some thing else...!! also the lump damages the threads...! :( any one use the sds bits to drive them in??

I am aware of the general down lighter spot lights etc but whilst browsing the web for ideas, styles, costs etc I see some stuff is 240V supply...
