Driving without MOT or Tax
I've been told that if my car's booked in for an MOT, and I'm driving direct to the MOT station within operating hours then it's OK to do so.... My ticket ran out in October and the car has been SORN since the tax ran out, but I have to do a 4 mile drive to get the MOT done on Thursday...- Colin Integrale

GU10 bulbs keep blowing after about a week - please help this is driving me mad!
Hi, I have a four lamp Halogen GU10 light fitting in my kitchen (not spots) and two in an adjacent sun lounge. They were fine when first installed a few years ago but in the last 12 months when we replace the bulbs they are lasting a week at the most. As you can imagine, with a total of 12 bulbs...- mervpayne

Need help this is driving me mad!
I'm no sparky but in looking for an answer my brother suggested a forum and I found this place. The problem is in the last few months I'm getting a clicking/buzzing/fizzing noise which has a sort of 'rythm'. This noise is coming from the Tellys,Microwave,Heating Timeswitches and Thermostats...- liammc
