    about to do a remedial job, another contractor has given a c2, to basically a domestic db, tails come in from cutout into main switch of db, their is also another set of tails from that side of main switch to an adjacent db for a shower circuit. I cannot see a code 2 on this? Maybe a c3 as best...

    Would a C3 be adequate for a main protective bonding conductor connection to water not readily accessible? Connection is present (along with tag) but is under floor boards. Took me ages to trace it back. Also I can not verify the location of the gas bonding connection. What code?

    EICR Code C3 Meaning

    Current GN3 p.80 says C3 means "Improvement required". Current GN3 p.105, model EICR form, says C3 means "Improvement recommended". Your thoughts? Bit of a cock-up if you ask me.
