Currently work 4 days a week in sales to fund my training, and I am doing one day a week at a lighting company gaining experience as a electrical trainee/mate, I am looking for either work on weekends around this or to go full time to replace my job in sales and work and study at the same time...

I could then make our three main forums (tilers, plumbers and electricians) all for professionals and trainees only. I think that's how most networks are doing it. So perhaps we do the same?

hi all i have recently started studying to be a domestic electric installer from home i pay for the course monthly and study from home then when i pass a certain part of modules i am invited to go to the college/test centre to do hands on experience and build a portfolio for my qualifications...
Is it time a skilled trade like ours started our own union? Not part of Unite, not Unison, or any of the other other general unions but something that only accepts skilled C&G qualified sparks into membership?
A friend of mine just came back from America and I asked him to bring me back something.
He picked up this electricians screwdriver for $6 in an electrical hardware store.
I notice it is non insulated but the packaging was marked as an 'electricians 6 in 1 screwdriver'
