Hi, I've been asked if i could disconnect the above and then reconnect it as the pillar it is mounted on is being replaced. Would anyone be able to tell me what is involved as it isn't something I am familiar with? Is it a case of just disconnecting the unit and then reconnecting or is there...

Morning all,
I've got a mkII fiat scudo, it's showing its age and has a dodgy injector. I drive quite a few miles for jobs and want something smoother and nicer to do drive!
What's people's thoughts on the new Fiat doblo/ vauxhall combo?
About half the stuff in my scudo is rubbish or stuff I...
Has anyone been involved with the installation of a disabled alarm in a building remote from a occupied building.
I'm carrying out electrical works to a remote shower block in a caravan park,as an after thought the owner has decided to install a disabled toilet/wet room in the block.
He has...
What are the reasons for using PVC singles in say a commercial installation such as a workshop that would use metal trunking/conduit as the containment, why not use twin and earth?
All I've got so far is, 'because that's just what you do', but I'm not sure that's an adequate answer!
Cheers
As I lack practical experience and recently failed to impress NICEIC into Registering me, I thought I could build my own test rig then test the hell out of it and try to develop fault-finding skills before paying for another assessment.
My rig is deliberately non-logical - eg I have a switch on...

With only having a little Doblo, the van is jam packed when fully loaded. I fancy some proper racking, the type where ladders slide underneath and all that jazz. I've thought about making my own (I already have some I made myself transferred across from the Kangoo) but don't really have the...

I'm starting out myself from the end of October, mostly domestic work to start but would be looking for commercial work as well. I've been looking to get a van and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I don't want a small van as I don't have anywhere to store material/plant etc so...
As the title, I'm thinking about changing from a Vivaro to a pickup. It wouldn't have as much carrying capacity, but that would just make me more disciplined about what ai carry. Sooo, has anyone made a similar change and if so with what result - happy, big mistake, or.....???
