    Door entry and RCD

    Would a door entry system be exempt from RCD protection? The system is on a residential upstairs flat and the guy is quite ill. The CU has a rcd for the sockets but the lights are on the unproteced side of the board. There is a spare way on the unprotected side i can use? Would i be ok not...
