Changed a Cu today. No rcd protection, Changed for a split way board. All tests were fine. Came to do Zs test on immersion heater - everything fine. Turned on DP switch to immersion and rcd tripped.
Had a good look at all cables for the circuit and all seemed fine. Disconnected...
If only cap replacement worked every time, I was given good info that replacing the caps on power adapters and alarm consoles and the such would solve all my life's problems.
And now that it doesn't I'm looking for the next micro-adjustment to save myself from putting in a whole brand new unit...
Fluke 1653, comes with everything as it would as new but also 2 spare fluke fuses.
As new used twice over the last couple of months (ie since ive had it) (and one of those times was on a check box, where everything was well within required values), Still time left of the calibration cert.
