Hi, I am planning to fit a SolarImmersion to make use of my excess generation and need to extend the CT clip-on sensor by about 7m. Their website states that this can be done using a twisted pair data cable, but no specifications. Has anyone needed to do this or can suggest a suitable cable...
Hi all, just looking for ideas on how you typically install decorative garden lighting (say s/steel) - post type, into soft ground. Customers often provide B&Q type fittings with two/three base fixing holes which are a real pain. I previously had some great bases made up in plastic for a large...
Have just completed an extension & fixed a new 10W dual RCCD Consumer unit for new circuits & existing. Started testing & discovered that although the test buttons on both RCCD work they wont trip when carrying out a RCCD test. I tested the external Ze & obtained a reading of 750 ohms...
I have a Wiseman wireless controller installed that works 4 Water Features and 1 set of external light posts. The original supply was via 2.5mm armoured cable. We have had problems in the last few months of the power tripping. It bypasses the RCD it comes into and takes out the main fuse. I...
