Can anybody explain this to me? As far as I am aware and relativly fresh from C&G 2391, a Periodic is not notifiable just...

I've wired a few phone sockets up before and I want to add an extra socket from the master socket. There is already one other socket coming from the master socket so is it ok to add another from there?
I added a diagram below. I want to add it like diagram A if I can or is it better to do it...
Iv been workin on a job and noticed that on the ring in each of the rooms all the sockets for the computers are wired in 4mm twin but there is also another 2.5 earth pulled round all the sockets too so there is obv 4 earths at each socket, do you knw why this is?
I was reading on another forum the other day and there was much confusion about if a SELV circuit fir a bathroom should be RCD protected.
Some said it should, some said it does not need it because its 12 volt.
I'm wondering if the difference is if the fan is located in the equipotential zone...

My firm is JIB registered, and employs me as an approved electrician. I also get 40p over the rate (whoopee!)
Due to hard economic times (and also the fact that they dont really want to employ any of us any longer, prefering to use subbies), they seem to be making some cutbacks.
I, and at...

A megger mft1552 or a Metrel MI3100 Eurotest Easi 17th Edition Tester? The metrel is £75ish cheaper - is the megger still a better buy - any opinions welcome as i have no real experience of either. Thanks

Hi all,
Is it easy to add, for example, 2 double sockets per room to an existing ring main (upper or lower) and what is the best way to do it? You can't spur off that many extra sockets, so I guess you break the ring at the appropriate places and add in each socket? Thanks.
