Does anyone have any experience of testing when generators are involved? All ZS readings come out too high for RCBO's that protect the circuits! any help or advice would be greatly received.

My employers are telling me that as part of my job I have to service gas generators.
The genny's are bottle fed, and i am expected to change spark plugs, filters, oil, and GAS HOSES. Can they make me do this without formal training ie. gas safe, acops or whatever.

Is there any additional protection that has to be incorporated if you connect PV onto an electrical system with a standby generator connected.
The DNO has advised that an additional G59 relay panel is not required at it is under 50kW...
The generator earthing article mentions connecting the earth points of generators together if they are supplying equipment used in close proximity.
I just wondered if this is also relevant to the 110V isolating transformers we use on site.
