    i currently have a 150w pir floodlight which isnt lighting the drive as much as i would like. so was looking to upgrade to a 500w pir light but after something a little more fancy than the bog standard 500w pir. it needs to be bright with a pir to shine on the drive any reccomendations...

    What would happen to a dimmer switch rated at 250w Running 6, 50 watt downlighters 230v? I think they must of been 35w lamps but have been changed to 50w GU10 halogen ones any help guys

    Blowing 500W Halogens

    Hi guys, did an installation back in May which included a couple of 500W halogens overlooking a car park. One bulb blew after about 3 months and now both have blown again a couple of times. I tested the circuit when the first bulb blew quickly and all appeared ok, so just thought it was a duff...
