    .......on the forum. very few active threads for me to troll out in. :-) would have thought everyone would have been sick of xmas by now after the typical UK 3 month build up to the event lol. if it gets any slower i may even have to start my design project , bummer ;-)

    Hello, I have just installed an ADE Optima Compact with a Ventcroft Compact bell box. All seems to work okay including the internal sounder but the external siren is very quiet.     IET GN3 is it a book of jokes?

    I have just read the suggested codes for the new EICR, are they really serious that an installation with no earth is a C2 or am I missing something, ok it may not be dangerous until a fault occurs but surely this could be a fire or even electrocution, a bit late then to do something about it

    enough was enough i had been between 15 and a half and 16 stone for the last 8 yrs so thought i should sort it out here are the dates and weights so far aiming for about 12 1/2 to 13 stone and see how i feel the books say for my height (5 10) i should be no more than 12 1/2 but we'll see:)
