Following Phil d's thread on "Camoron" which has strayed into Europe I thought this could be an interesting thread to start....
Free trade (i.e. no trade barriers or import duties) was a good idea.
Anybody recommend any that don't fall to pieces after they've been used ten times?
The Wera Impaktor Diamond bits look good but they're quite expensive. Anybody used Dewalt Extreme bits?
Does anyone have any experience of the Draper Expert 10.8V Cordless impact driver set? Been offered what i think is a good deal at £80 for impact driver, drill driver, and torch 2 batteries and charger. But this sounds too cheap to me are they just trying to get rid of them because theyre...
HAS ANYONE USED OR BROUGHT ERBAUER 10.8V IMPACT DRIVER FROM SCERWFIX,IS IT WORTH BUYING ?.OR IS IT BETTER TO BUY THE MAKITA VERSION.CAN ANYONE RECOMEND ONE :joker:
What a great little driver.
tbh I had never heard of them before and I seen them at the elex show in Coventry.
The little beast even takes car wheel nuts of and packs 190nm. to say i was impressed is an understatement. It slams coach bolts into solid wood and drives into concrete no problem...
Hi guys have a query in regards to bringing back dewalt drills from Canada! i have been given these two 20V max impact drill drivers and hammer drill (DCK285C2) which run on 120v and 60 hz. If i purchase a little adaptor which runs 120 from 230v would be great but i feel this might slow down the...

…
(i) conduits shall provide a degree of protection against impact of 5 J according to BS EN 61386-21
(ii) cable trunking...
Looking at getting a small, probably 10.8v drill driver to leave in the tool bag to reduce repetitive strain injury. I find I hint use the 18v as much since it is that bit heavier and bulkier.
Is it worth getting an impact driver? Or just a drill driver?
I assume that the smaller 4-6v models...

Hi all,
Looking at getting a twin pack of combi drill and impact driver.
Narrowed it down to either Milwaukee or makita, on paper the Milwaukee is winning with better torque for both tools.
Anyone got any opinions on either?
I need to get myself a new cordless drill but can't decide what to go for, what are you guys using and what would you recommend. I am thinking bosch myself.
