Just had QANW on the phone telling me that I have to 'delete' Clause 9 of my Guarantee as I some of the stuff in it their underwriters don't like.
My Guarantee is based on the model documents from REAL.
Just spoken to them and they don't really know what to advise lol
Anyone else had anything...
well, for the first time ever I have been asked by a customer for deposit protection and third party warranty cover.
I don't want to go down the REAL route so wondered if anyone has ideas on who may provide this independantly.
cheers
I have a electrical company and am wanting to fit more alarms servicing and such do you have to register with anyone for this? and also who do you register with for your alarms to comply with insurance?
I RECENTLY PASSED 2391 EXAM:43::wacko: AND MY FRIEND ASKED ME TO DO A PIR ON HIS WAREHOUSE FOR INSUR. PURPOSES.
AM I ALLOWED TO ISSUE A PIR CERTIFICATE OR ANY OTHER ONE, WITHOUT BEING REGISTERED WITH ANY OF THOSE ELECTR. BODIES LIKE

I thought I saw somewhere in the mountains of paperwork I have trawled through over the past few weeks, a minimum amount of PI insurance set out by REAL, and can't find it now, is there a specified amount, or am I imagining it?
Cheers in advance

I am a subcontractor carrying out weekly and monthly PPM schedule on a small airfield with around 10 movements of aircraft per day. The Main Contractor is demanding we have our own Airside Insurance policy. Can anyone advise? Is it required and how much would it likely to cost?
I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for any brokers or insurance companies where they have a good deal? Some of the quotes I am getting are crazy!!
