Do soffit downlighters have to be fire rated and which IP rating?

Hi guy's, New to the forum and was wondering what IP rating soffit downlighters would need to be and do they have to be fire rated. I know you have to use IP 44 for bathrooms because of the steam. Let me know what you think, thanks in advance.

Where are IP rating definitions in the regs?

I usually check IP rating definitions in the back of wholesalers catalogs. Found my OSG and BRB closer to hand today so went to look in there......and couldn't find the definitions. Are they in the regs (or OSG) and I'm just not seeing them, or are they defined elsewhere?
