I plan in the near future to register with the NICEIC under their Part P Domestic Installer scheme.
To that end I need to be assessed on two installations. It is my plan to use some planned electrical work on my own house, plus a job for one other person as my assessed jobs.
Unfortunately I...

hi all
can i use a consumer change and
(more to the point) can i use an installation of an outside rcd protected socket fed from a spur off a ring main as the second ?
thanks
forgot to mention this for a full scope assesment
OK, what is the oddest job you have had?
I have just been asked to rewire a christmas stocking....
(It will be part of a shop window display that I am having to supply a feed for, it is normally only battery powered, but they dont want to be disturbing the display to change batteries)
Whilst waiting for assesment can you just take on all the jobs that come in and select one major and one minor for inspection or do you do just the 2 jobs and await assesment.
Chicken egg syndrome
