Hi all,
The dimmer push button still works but the dimmer stopped working when i turn the button, i heard a pop noise and it was then when it stopped working.
This is the second dimmer now and it has happened to both of them, not straight away, each one lasted about 4-5 weeks.
I wonder if...

Hi we are currently located in Nairobi, Kenya and have UK 240V.
We have a problem that the fuse in the main fuse box keeps burning. Each time we replace the fuse it lasts roughly a month. We have seen that the burning to the wire is on the inlet side of the fuse.
The house doesn’t have many...

Just after a bit of advice.
Just got home on Christmas Eve, went to put the lights on as you do, then there was a "pop" from the MCB.
Usually when this happens one of the halogen bulbs in the bathroom has gone and needs replacing. Usually resetting the MCB, identifying the blown bulb...

Morning guys!
Over the weekend I noticed that the 80a RCD in my consumer unit kept tripping. The house doesn't have anything particularly power hungry - no air con, no DIY tools. It even trips in the middle of the night sometimes (I know so because the house alarm has a little fit when it...
