Hi guys and gals,
Got a Megger 1720 just bought a Kewtech FC 3000 "checkbox" off eBay but me Megger cables won't fit in the 4mm test holes.
Anyone know of a cable set that will do the job without spending a lot. Only need this to keep NICEIC happy etc.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Folks,
I have my first 'competent person' assessment in a couple of weeks and am starting to stress a bit!
Problem I have is my GS38 leads keep blowing. For a Megger1552.
They never used to do this. Have been using the same box of 500mA HRC fuses for ages, but cannot do any live tests...
When testing an RCD/RCBO is it proper procedure to have test leads on line neutral and cpc? or is a 2 lead line and cpc test ok?
basic question i am sure but just want to make sure i am doing things properly.
thanks james

I have recently bought a second hand Kewtech KT64 and it appears to have a fault. It does Continuity, Insulation Resistance and Voltage ok. But when I try to do Loop, Pefc/Pscc and Rcd the scene highlights a wiring fault (L-N). Test leads are ok. Does anyone know:- 1, What the fault might be. 2...
Hi
I have a Seaward Test 'n' Tag printer for sale in mint condition (as new). It's never been taken out on site, it is not longer needed (I've only had it month and a half). As I'm sure you're aware, these retail for anywhere between £250-£350 new. It comes with a cartridge, that has been used...
Anyone got any recommendations on what replacement leads I should get? The ones I'm using at the moment is the old robin ones and the croc clips are pants.
Wished I'd of got a megger but I've used a fluke since college. When I get enough cash together think I'll invest in one.
Really pleased with meter. Not so happy with case & carring leads. 2 sets of Megger leads, very similar but different fusing. Any ideas how to simplify /
streamline or better case ?. Thanks
So it's Friday night and I am sitting here wondering why daisy chaining extension leads is so wrong?
Provided the cable is rated at over the plug fuse, each plug has is appropriately fused to protect cable, and extension cable is not coiled why is it considered dangerous to daisy chain...
Hopefully I'm not making a complete a**e of myself here!
I've just bought an MFT1730 (currently re qualifying as a sparkie) in readiness for my 2392. My idea was to start using the device at home to become familiar with it. However I seem to have fallen at the first hurdle, so to speak. I...
