The wife is requesting LED lights under the bed, its all wired in to the light switch by the door as she did not want a remote control, I was just wondering what people thought about switching a transformer this way ( chopping of the plug or swapping for a round pin one ) or using an LED driver...

LED strip lights - power supply.

Trying to work out power supply for LED strip lights. 12v DC with a wattage of 9.6w per Meter. There is 5m in total. Am I correct in saying its just the general rule of 230v to work it out. I.e.... 48w/12v = 4amp.

Under cabinet LED strip lights

Hi all, please help I want to put LED strip lights in my kitchen. There is a switch under the first cabinet that is connected to the mains and turns on the lights under all cabinets. It was wired originally for standard lighting. (Please see attached image). Is it possible to set up LED strips...
