I have an electrical problem. I've a two gang switch and have just replaced some old 70s lights. I've matched the wiring but has an issue. Switch two works and switches light two on and off. Switch one however only dimly lights the first light. I've no idea why.
I've not touched the switch in...
There was a discussion some time back that wound its way to the subject of LED filament lamps - specifically those with fairly high output - but I can't seem to find it now.
I'm trying to find B22 GLS lamps producing around 1000+ lumens, but it's proving difficult without paying considerable...
Hi guys - I need to replace an LED driver for one of my downlights.
I know how to make sure the bulb is compatible with the driver, but as I can’t find the exact same driver as those which connect to the other bulbs, I’m worried that it might perform differently to the others.
My question...
I have 9 led strips fitted to a bookcase which is operated by an LED dimmer switch. The lights all turn on, off and dim, but after they have been on a few minutes 3 of the lights begin flickering constantly.
Is this an issue with the lights or the dimmer switch?
Thanks
I'm buying my wife a led, anti fog mirror for her birthday and it recommends hard wiring to be connected to a wall switch. I don't have access to above or behind the wall in question, what is the best way to hook this up? Run a wire from the light above the mirror? Or try to go around the corner...
Good morning knowledge base.
I have a project involving auto electrical (so 12V DC, or 13.8V on a good day) and LED lighting. I have a pair LED lights (total 60W) that I would like to be dimmable via a switch. The lights will therefore be fed by two circuits (one with a fixed resistor for the...
Have metal halide double ended 150w industrial lights.
Is there such thing as led bulbs to swap direct into the units? Or does the startup units or whatevers in them not work for direct replacements? Thanks
I'm looking for a 6" recessed, dimmable, LED bulb (not integrated) no-can ceiling lights, with gimbal, J-box, and able to be in contact with insulation. They are for a vaulted ceiling in a enclosed porch. I'd need about 1000 lumens per light and going to need 8 of them. I would really like a...
Hi,
I have a downstairs toilet with two spotlights. I have recently replaced the MR16s with two GU10 LEDs. This has meant that my PIR makes the lights flash repeatedly.
I have another PIR in the utility which has 6 spotlights on (all GU10 LEDs) and this one works fine. I have tried swapping...
Hi,
I have bought a LED Lighting Strip (20 metres) to sit inside some Screwfix coving for my bedroom.
Although it will be controlled by the remote control that came with the kit or the app, I would like to use one of the switches in a 1 gang/2 switch to turn it on and off at the wall before...

It has been a long time since I have posted even though I visit the forum regularly.. Now retired so a bit out of touch with what is available. I'm looking for some 5ft LED Battens for a church hall. There are presently ten in total and I want to change them for LED. Any recommendations...
Hi all,
I am new in this forum and would like to understand how to wire to the main supply x3 of the equipment that I attached as a picture?
I had a normal light and wish to have three of those leds instead.
Is it possible and if so how should I wire it?
Many thanks in advance.

I wired in an auxiliary fan to my Jeep radiator. Details:
1. Fan grounded to body.
2. Power wire for fan goes to standard 4 pin relay (with prewired harness)
3. Constant hot 12V for relay goes to 30amp breaker then to battery.
4. Engine-on power12V for relay goes to fusebox in engine...
Hello,
we have many LED luminaires with some problem (possibly caused by periodic work on generator of our factory), when dali dimming is set to to 100%, luminaries works fine, but after dimm them to 10-20% (dimming by dali protocol), some LEDs in one matrix glow darker or completely go out...
I’m looking for a dimmer switch that works well with Sylvania’s 61405 LED wafer lights. Only two lights on the switch. I installed the switch in the picture, and it did nothing.
Thanks for your input.
