I recently quoted a customer for a few bits and pieces including supplying and fitting an external pir floodlight. She emailed me to ask how many 'years' warranty I give on the floodlight, and I said a one year parts and labour warranty. She emailed back to say that usually they come with a 2...
As per the title, when I first joined, I was trying to find out if anyone knew the whereabouts of a Neon Tester, (I know) this tester was a Black jobby, not your usual plastic see through type, being a Tool Tart I wanted to know if I could purchase one, not to use, just to add to my collection...

An HV question, I use to be an AP (Authorised Person for several HV distributions) but having not touched it for many years, I was just mulling over things last night, and I recall, when phasing out a 11KV ring main, I seem to remember that when doing this, if you phased across 2 cores on...
Just seen some sds drillbit sets in Lidl's, only £10 for a set of 4 super long sds masonary bits (up to 20mm I think), also theyre doing x10 auger bits in a metal case, and a chisel set in a case for £10. Looks like a bargain for the price !!

Hi,
I’ve just moved into a new flat with an Electrastream boiler, and when I first moved in it seemed to get to around 45 degrees in around 45 minutes. Now, (about two weeks later) I’m luck if it gets to 40 degrees in an hour. This seemed to happen after a new shower was fitted.
Can anyone...
