Lower energy generation from all black panels?

Afternoon. I have potential customer questioning whether all black panels will perform as well as panels with a white backing on the basis that they will become hotter more quickly affecting energy generation on warm sunny days. I can understand the logic but have never seen hard evidence to...

    Lower Rate Fit

Anyone else missed the change in lower rate fit? I was just checking before I went to visit a swimming pool that I can't imagine will get anywhere near a D rating and discovered it's gone down to 6.61p. I don't understand how it's gone down if the rate for 4kwp and 10kwp didn't hit the numbers...

Novice needs advice: Using a lower wattage voltage converter

I think I have received some bad advice from electricians and want to ask here. I was ignorant and did not consider the specs of a Vitamix kitchen blender before plugging it into a 300-watt voltage converter. However, both the blender and the converter worked fine for many events and continue to...

Renusol Intersole on plain clay tiled roof

Has anyone installed a Renusol Intersole system on a plain clay tiled roof? I can't see any reason why it shouldn't be ok, but it's just that every example I've ever seen of it shows it installed on thicker pan tiles. Presumably it would be ok but would sit a little higher than normal?
