Hi all,
I am trying to diagnose an issue with a BEKO WMB101433LW washing machine where it was reported (by the missus) that the drum has far more resistance than usual.
I've ruled out bra wires etc and anything between inner and outer drum and have isolated the issue to the high torque setting...
Sorry this question may sound silly, but I really don't know anything about electricity so I'm just asking to make sure.
So, recently I bought a machine from the U.S via Amazon. In the instructions of the Amazon page, it said to plug the machine into a 110V socket, but our countries run on a...

Last week I ran my...
I let out a flat and had an EICR, carried out, to meet the new Private Rented Sector Regulations. The EICR has recorded a “C2” for an extension lead on a washing machine.
The lead supplied with the washing machine is about 1 metre shorter than is convenient for fitting the drainage tube back...

I came up with an idea that could possibly produce more useful energy than is required to keep the system running & no it is not a perpetual motion machine.
The output is electric and that is why I am introducing this idea here.

Hi guys, I'm having an issue with a tire machine I was called too.

Hi.
A little before Christmas, our (13 month old) washing machine packed in.
We did a bit of investigating locally and found an engineer with good feedback.
He came out and assessed the machine, and decided that the problem was the motor, and that we’d need a new one.
His prices seemed...
Hello all
Just looking at a Samsung EcoBubble washing machine that's fairly new and been an issue for some time apparently.
It's in the sister-in-law's garage. She says she's had the Samsung guy out to it 3 times under warranty and it still doesn't work.
She has no idea what was done to it...
Somebody has told me that the PAT regulations for leakage current are
relaxed for washing machines, tumble driers etc? Please is this correct?
Thank you
I am interested in buying a medical device that says the max watt output is 5000 watts.
As far as I know you can only run up to 20 amp tops at home. I do NOT have a 220 or 240 volt outlet. Everything is 120 volt.
My questions are;
I am pretty sure it is not going to work with my current...
Or any make for that matter.
Does anyone know where I can pick these up in general.
They seem to be scarce.
I have a particular need at the moment for a Hotpoint Aquarius+ WDF740.
Wiring diagrams and fuses and such.
Thanks

Hi, I am replacing a “fizzing” start /stop switch on a metal framed woodworking machine , with an NVR switch with emergency stop. The machine itself is mounted on nylon castors which presumably insulate the machine electrically from ground. My question is therefore, where do I attach the earth...
