Ok, can anybody tell me exactly what this RCD is?
I think its a 100ma
Its on a TT system, before a 16th edition board and the client is getting occassional nuisance tripping. I've tested the 30ma RCD on the socket circuits and it trips OK and this one doesn't trip.
Sorry for the scant...
We haven't gone donw this route yet but thought everyone might be interested in the conversation I've just had with a customer. We met her yesterday at an event and she's rung and requested a survey. Just after she rang us she registered for a free quote and has been rung by 6 different...
Well I have seen it all now, picture the scene, old buildings with various roofs, which all join up, flat roofs on different levels, and some pitched roofs also.
In the middle of all this is a pitched roof that is covered with green mineral felt, there is an air duct (300x300mm) that runs along...

Just been to an inspection today, as with many of them its suffering from a bit of DIY, bathroom downlights are above 225, so are out of zones, but are not IP rated, so I will probably give them a C3 ? They are double insulated but the earths have been nicely snipped out so are discontinuous &...

We're know for being patient, courteous and have great customer care but I'm finding myself getting ever so slightly exasperated.
It's killing us to get panels, inverters, deliveries, subbies to forego some of their other work to help us out. We've turned down loads of customers to keep our...

Need a new voltage tester, been looking at the Megger TPT220, but it seems like the T5-1000 comes highly recommended.
The Megger has an RCD/FI test function that allows for the simple testing of 30mA RCDs, RCBOs and safety breakers. A test between phase and earth on a circuit protected by an...
