Hi guys
I want to install a PIR motion sensor in my hallway to power on a free standing lamp. I will run it on a spare off the ring. Anybody any ideas on what type of motion sensor I would need?

I live near the coast & have had 2 metallic security lights.
These have each corroded to the extent that the case could not be opened when the light failed.

Have a question for you all...Does anyone know of an occupancy switch that uses a solid state relay? Cant be the standard, electronic ones (ie the ones that you hear a click on switching), as the pulse from these is reducing the longevity of the cfl ballast's installed.
