Why I never wear a wedding ring GRAPHIC CONTENT do not open if queasy

A footballer trying to climb a fence lost his finger when his wedding ring caught on top of a chail link fence. It was torn off by his body weight. There are numerous instances of rings doing this and I firmly believe I would have no finger to put a ring on if I had worn one. full story here...

    Supplier fuse query/DNO

Went to replace a consumer unit today and removed the service fuse. Lady from next door said her electric had gone off and sure enough, when fuse is removed it cuts off both properties. Rang the DNO and they said that it is not a problem. Surely this is unacceptable?

    Dylan

As a child of the 50s and 60s I was forever hearing about Bob Dylan ( now I expect a lot slagging off) but I never rated Bob, and as for a Nobel Prize, for what exactly? I can certainly stand the abuse I may get so can anyone enlighten me on why he deserves the accolade?

Never a dull moment. Wiring from hell!

The one good thing about this job is that after 15 years I'm still being amazed by what I find. So, welcome to the house with the wiring from hell. The middle part is about 1850 with extensions at both ends dating from the 80's and 2010 respectively. I was asked to fit metal light fittings on...

    38A mcb?!

Anyone else come across one of these? 38 amp MCB. It's an old proteus centaur. Looks very similar to old crab tree breakers. But I've never seen or heard of that rating before.

Rcbo On A Busbar Protected By Rcb

Hi just looking for your opinions on putting an RCBO on as busbar protected by an RCD, the reason i ask is the manufacturer doesnt make a 45A MCB but does make a 45A RCBO. or leave the circuit on a 40A MCB even though the manufacturer of the oven asks for a 45A supply?
