hi all does anybody know the phone number for british gas (north west) to report black pitch/tar coming form main fuse, just doing a rewire on a house and got the black stuff coming out, so ideally would be better for me to connect the tails in while they sort it cheers

Early g83 eaton grid tied inverters . They have a blk strip down front about 3 3rds from left . To the left of black strip they have 3 evenly spaced ridges . I have a pic but dunt know how to post it on here .
I have purchased a 16A SR4400TL but they have sent me model number SR4K4TLA1 which is 22A. The 16A version should have model number SR4K4TLA1-PT, anyone know if it is these are two different inverters, or if i just have to change the settings on the 22A model (and how to do this if so)?
Thanks...
Lads, I passed my 2391 a couple years ago I'm a time served JIB electrician and halfway through an HNC, can I sign off a condition report for a house I rent out and have tested.
Doing a periodic and need a BS number for an old MCB.
Its an old late 70's panel and the mcb is one of those chunky black units with the the big switch in the middle with rating on it. It reminds me of the breakers you used to get on dis boards in the 80's.
Any help appreciated. Thanks.
Can anyone tell me the BS number of a 100A double pole Dorman Smith main switch? It looks like it might have been used in the late 60s or 70's
I've got a picture but can't post it
Thanks
I have just fitted new consumer unit (wylex) but absolutely no markings on the switch or the box/info sheet.

Any ideas
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

Hi Guys,
Just started using test sheets that ask for number of points on circuit (recently started using PIRform). Let's say I was inspecting a shower, would I enter 2 points on circuit, isolator & appliance? Would you do the same for lighting ie where you might have a 2 way circuit & 10 D/L's...
