Honeywell room stat orange light always on.
Hi guys. Tomorrow im going to a job where the orange light on the honeywell thermostat is always on faintly and comes on properly when the room stat is turned up. Identification of orange armoured cable type
Hi folks, domestic client has original rewireable Wylex main fuseboard, no RCD protection. TN system. Circuit to detached garage is orange armoured. Any thoughts on what the most likely cable type is? See pic of sub board in garage. Thanks, SW- SW1970

Whats happened to the Blue and Orange theme
I normally use the blue and orange theme.... but since about 3pm this afternoon it's gone rather random. If you click on "my profile" instead of the boxes arranged neatly the boxed now appear one after the other... So you get a reeeellllyyy long page. I also found I was unable to update...- RWJ

Kitchen fitters / notifiable work in kitchen?

Master Socket
My phone wont ring!!! The mrs took the master socket off yesterday when she was decorating and now th efone wont ring for incoming calls. telephone connection..
Had to swop out an old BT master box today.. but found that the colour coding of the incoming cores differs to modern cable.. the master plate appeared to have 3 connectors marked A,B, and C. Only the the A & B connectors had cores to them.. A=orange (solid colour) B=white (solid colour)...- GT1
