Was reading my OSG earlier and was suprised to see it recomends a 32amp circuit for a cooker up to 15kw.
Also says you can have multiple cookers on one circuit/isolator (which I knew)
My question is this
Can I have a 7.2kw hob through an iso on a 6mm 32a circuit then on the other side of the...
I've been asked to run in a supply for 2 2.8kW fan assisted ovens (none of them have hobs) but there is only 1 spare way on the main board, if it was only 1 oven 2.5mm would be big enough as well as a 20A fuse but as I need to supply 2 using 1 MCB I'm a bit weary as to how to do this safely...
I'm after a bit of guidance here! Being an old fashioned type of chap I always ask what size oven is being installed to get the calcs right, however I recently carried out a Periodic on a property to be let and found that the oven was fitted with a 13A plug and plugged into to the kitchen ring...
My parents are having a new kitchen installed soon and had someone out today to check over the room before they make their final decisions.
My mum wants a double electric oven and induction hob, but the kitchen fitter has said that the cable installed (which is completely hidden and...

From there it runs to a FCU behind the oven and fused at 13A.
Cable is in plaster from ccu to ceiling then accross kitchen in ceiling void (no insulation) and back down wall in plaster again.
First question - Is it correct to...

Have read on this forum several times from experienced posters that ovens rated at 2kW must have their own circuit. However, was chatting at college to a guy who teaches some of the regs evening classes and he said that a small oven below 13A could be on a ring. Anyone shed any light...
