Hello,
I've been asked to run in a new circuit for a dishwasher in a school staff room.
I've planned a 20amp / 2.5 T&E radial feeding a 13amp fused connection unit and fixed equipment connection point.
The planned cable run includes running across the ceiling of the plant room (2/3...
Had a customer comment that he is thinking of upgrading to a MW (out of my league) and he has a national involved.
Now he is being told that it is better to have a 200KW and a seperate 800KW.
The 200KW gets added to the 50KW system he already had installed during the pre-DEC 2011 rush, and he...
There are many type of control schemes available that could be implemented for controlling the inverter.
The main problem I'm facing is in performing clark's or park's transformation of the single phase current and voltage.
Any suggestions?
I need to protect a digital welding inverter from voltage spikes when powered from a generator, iv'e been told running it through a transformer will do this, however the welder is 240v and the only transformers i can get at a sensible cost are 240 in, and 110 out site transformers, i could get...
Hey guys, I was wondering where if in the BGB or if you have any links you could find some of regulations regarding working live, when you should etc.

Hi,
does anybody have experience of dealing with tool hire companies in the North West, in particular what levels of discount can be achieved for 'regular' customers.
Apologies for some laziness (I should be ringing round) but I thought I'd get some views from this forum first.
Thanks

Hi,

How many out there are ensuring that their plant carries a valid label and not one that's been made up (not suggesting anyone would!)
As most will be aware site plant requires 3 monthly tests.
Who hasn’t come out with some of these statements at sometime?
This is fool proof
They can’t break this
There’s no access to the work area while the M/c is working
Everything is cross interlocked
That can’t happen it’s physically impossible
I’ve checked everything
They’ll never defeat this...
