I have a customer who is digging a rather large pond (approx 200.000 gallons) where he is constructing a bridge and an island. Around the pond is some perimeter lighting and he has mentioned a light or socket on the island. This is getting a little close for comfort for me but am unsure which...
Hello,
I have a pond filter, that has a short (3-4m) run of flex to a junction box, and I want to protect it, but can't decide on the best conduit. The flex will be discreet but not buried, and will run with the hoses from the filter across a flowerbed. (It's at risk of boots & hand trowels...

Hi all, Got myself a job swapping some socket fronts for a friend, Just had a quick look today and all of the sockets are on a ring protected by a 32A mcb. But one of the sockets has a 2.5mm T&E feeding a pond fountain (It's only very small, So I can't see loading being an issue) outside in the...

I'm planning a job for a client which (amongst other things) includes installing a pondpump.
I've just seen the pump they've bought, and it's designed to be wired directly off a fused spur.
That's fine, but as there's also going to be power to some outdoor sockets for some other...
