Hello,
I need a CCTV system that is completely wireless and would like to solar power it all. I have my eyes on a suitable camera with internal storage, so I will not need a separate recording device. However, the camera is powered by an ethernet cable. Is there any way I can solar power this...

About to power up an alarm system for the first time, panel is a Honeywell Accenta G4.

The manual mentions leaving in the tamper links for first power up. If I need to disconnect the battery and mains...

Does anyone know if these meters just restart and run as normal on power up or do they need a special key or the like?
Cheers

Hi all (first post here, so apols if I'm not behaving appropriately).

I was looking at something like a GST102 but from what I can work out it can only power 6 sounders.
2 sounder outputs rated at 500mA, sounders draw 160mA when active.
So that gives me a max number of sounders = 1000/160 = 6.
Or have I gotten it all wrong?
I'm lookin for a basic system that can...

I work for a company which is not any form of electrical installer, and we've been asked to start installing external IP56 related screens. I need some clarification on what is sensible and legal to do. Ideally, we do not want to have to pay the cost of a certified electrician to do this...
