I have a megger power disturbance analyser in a collegues house, it is showning HF noise bursts of up to 2vp-p at about 5 to 10 times a min. What are the normal causes of these? The mains voltage is in spec.

Interested to get recommendations for a top end of the range 500 watt floodlight. No PIR preferrable, could disconnect that though. Steinel which has been recommended before doesn't appear to do one without PIR.
For West coast of Scotland so best IP rating also an issue.
