    Quick Ring Question

    Hi All, Testing due to Consumer unit change r1 = 0.26 rn = 0.26 r2 = 0.46 R1+R2 = 0.19 Two of the sockets close to the consumer unit had lower than expected R1+R2 readings of 0.07 & 0.14 I can see how this is possible can someone shed some light on this for me please. Thanks

    Quick Meter Question.

    Property has an old fuse board with 16mm tails is to be replaced with a new cu with 100A switch & 25mm tails, the main fuse is a 1361 100A fuse. The meter is only rated 80A. Do I just fone the local authority (S.S.E) to put in a 100A meter?

    A quick question on certification and notification to Part P scheme.

    For example you have a ryefield board with 3 phase incoming cable split into 5 fuses for each meter. 3 meters are 3 flats, 1 for communal area and 1 a small shop unit. Now does ryfield board counts as a shared supply between all of them and therefore should be 5 notifications of each property...
