end of line on lighting circuits

Whenever I wire a basic lighting circuit in Twin and earth I wire it in a radial with one end-of-line (e.o.l). However, I don't actually know the reason why...apart from believing its good practise? Is it wrong to have more than one e.o.l and if so why? For certain runs it would be a lot cheaper...

The REAL reason REAL are busy is...

I've been trying to get through for two days now but finally been told that the reason everyone is in meetings all day is.... Spur from a spur? Theoretical reason for it being allowed...

Hi chaps... Been asked to add a light in an under-stairs cupboard. A spur from the downstairs socket circuit runs through that cupboard to a double 13A outlet in the kitchen. I'd like to tap into that for the light, but under the regs I'd have to fuse it down first. The thing is, the 2.5mm...
