I am looking for a lightweight ladder (as I am a lightweight!) which would be ideal to reach the average house gable end.
Does anyone recommend any make or type ie: combi ladders ?
I would prefer one with a stabilzer bar at one end.

In a change from the usual type of post here, does anyone use battery angle grinders to trim the tiles?
If so, are they any good, given that the work (I suppose) is light!!!?
What makes do you use and can you recommend?

I have ran into a problem with a SB3300 tripping out on a recent install. After checking mains volts and hertz I got a reading of 50.2 hertz and voltage fluctuating between 252v and 262v. A quick read of the inverter spec makes me think over voltage is the problem.

Installing a 3 phase cooker with 6kw on one phase, 6kw on the second and 3.5kw on the third. The instructions recommend using flex. In BS7671 I'm using Table 4F1A, page 292 and therefore need 6mm flex. This sounds a lot for 26.1 amps on each phase. Am I being dumb?
