    Any idea what this is and is it safe to scrap?

    A customer we work for has asked whether this thing can be attacked with a grinder for recycling purposes, can't say that I know what it is. It looks like a transformer to me but does it contain any oil with PCPs or similar things that could be harmful or it it just windings in a case? It looks...

    Can we have a system where every installation has its own log book, where it details any work carried out by who, with their own personal registration number, so all work is traceable, if needed.
