Klein Tools 33736INS Klein Tools 33736INS Insulated Screwdriver Set, 1000V Slim-Tip Driver with Phillips, Cabinet and Square Bits and a Magnetizer, 6-Piece https://amzn.eu/d/cTeZZZJ
I’m looking for £40.
Not that I've ever used one, but I have been known to mess around with torque wrench's and cylinder heads in my younger days!
Torque wrenches do need calibrating because going to tight with an aluminium head after a gasket change can result in expensive mistakes.
I guess this could be the...
So , long story short i recently lost my torque screwdriver set which was a Draper one which I think cost me about £60 off Amazon
I fancied a change and looked at the Armeg and Wera torques but both are £100 ish
What makes these worth £40+ more than a Draper set ??
I’m looking to get a new set of VDE Screwdrivers. I’ve had Wiha and Wera currently. But I’ve found the grip on the Wera a little slippy in the hand when in the cold. I’ve seen both ITL and Boddingtons are highly rated. If anyone has used them or has any recommendations that would be great.
loads of Vde interchange sets on the market by c.k , Wera , Draper etc but all have the standard 100/125mm long shafts
im after some with longer shafts say 175/200mm
?
I had about 14 quid on an old wickes gift card which I found (I forgot I had it) so brought this with it
https://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Multi-Bit-VDE-9-Piece-Screwdriver/p/149053
I won’t hold my breath that it will last long but never the less I’m tempted to see how much use It will withstand

I only saw them briefly but I believe it was a set of 6, possibly more of interest to those starting out and buying their first set of tools or those who frequently buy and break cheap nasty screwdrivers? :P
I have been umming and arghing about a torque screwdriver for some time but have not yet bought one.
My fears are the following:
1. There are set torque settings that conductors in a consumer unit should adhere to. However, in the neutral bar which are screw terminals I tend to screw a 6mm in...
