I am interested to know which is more common for the UK market PZ or Ph on the plus minus screws, other than RCB & MCBO have you come across any other needs for this type of screwdriver tip. Thanks
Until recently I never heard of Facom, let alone know that they make very nice tools.
I like to have a look at other sparkies tools (not in that way!) you get an idea whats about and whats changed.
The guys I am working with have Facom VDE Screwdrivers, they do seem to be a nice bit of kit.

I got fed up with loads of odd drivers so bought a nice new set of CK drivers, only few weeks and 4 of the 7 in the kit have snapped. What a load of rubbish, I know we are all guilty of using them for all sorts of things it...

Hi everyone - Has anyone had experience with these - I like the idea, but worry that they are a lot weaker than my ordinary drivers (with insulation stripped back a bit!)
Im told these have slipped blades for gripping screws in restricted access area, loosen with normal screwdriver then grip with special driver, one blade overlaps forcing side pressure to hold screw, does this make sense.
Im told RS do them but wondering if anyone has any other faves, also, what...

hi guys i saw some screwdrivers last month in pe magazine, the shaft of the screwdriver was flush down to the tip so didnt have the shroud that normal insulated ones have, good to fit in where screws are recessed, anyone use these or know what they are called? im trying to find them :confused:
Just wondering if anyone, maybe apprentices are intrested in buying some of my old 1000v fully insulated ck scredrivers that i have, they are all in good condtion yes have been used but basically nothing wrong with them, they are just sitting in my shed.
