Doing a mock EICR on a friends place to try and find out what's causing nuissance RCD tripping.
Was about to start and realised the MET is in a grey plastic box and sealed with a DNO seal... Didn't know the DNO sealed something like the MET, it's making it somewhat difficult to...
The electricity supplier dont like seals to be cut but you know what they started fitting a DP isolator so there was means of mains siolation for the sparky its called HEALTH AND SAFETY they thought they could prosecute if we cut there seals and didnt call them and pay to have them re sealed.

I hear of sparks who do Dist Board changes just cut the seals, pull the fuse, upgrade the tails if required, before installing the new CU.

sorry if this Q come up before,, what's the crack with the suppliers seals should i ring up and get them to cut the seals and replace them when iv finished, its for my assessment, some people say do it yourself others say ring DNO, help would be great
