    RCD protection on a second distribution unit in work shed

    Planning on putting in a sub-main across garden into a workshed to accommodate socket circuit with workshed, garden lighting and pond pump. It will be protected at main c/u on an RCD would it also be necessary / advisable to have further RCD protection in the workshed?

    Adding a second consumer unit off the main switch

    Hi all, I need to add a second, 4 way, consumer unit at a customer's house. I have bought the unit and some 16mm tails. Would I be able to add those 16mm tails into the main switch of the primary CU or would I need to put a Henley block in the orginal tails? Thanks very much

    How long to second fix a socket?

    I am pricing a massive rewire and the easiest way is to break it down so I have allowed 20 mins to second fix a socket or switch do you think that is fair? I have never priced a domestic as big as this only ever commerical!! I am finding it wierd lol
