    split a single string pv array in to 2 using a splitter

    I am a solar installer and i have been told that i can use a mc4 splitter to connect 1 string in to both connections on inverter as they had done this before to spread the load surly this can not be right. as a splitter is used for 2 strings going in to 1 not the other way around
