I'm looking to fit a light in the cupboard under my stairs, there is a single socket on the wall next to the cupboard door in the hallway with the wires clipped on the inside.
Not certain yet if this is a spur or on the normal ring circuit but if it's a spur then could I possibly fit a 13a...

Hi I have some lights on my stairs that I need to get some replacements for but I can't find anything suitable. I'm looking for some led lights about 30mm wide that I can directly replace for the existing lights. can anyone suggest anything please thanks

Hi folks, client has asked for upgrade of MCBs to RCBOs on split board to bring up to speed. Upstairs and downstairs lighting currently unprotected and there's no 2 way on the stairs. If I upgrade to RCBO, is there a reg that I need to refer to about the absence of a 2 way? They don't want one...

Started on a rather large PIR this afternoon and have noticed the following so for:
1. Smoke alarm positioned over stairs
2. Some downlights completely covered in loft insulation
3. 13A socket in loft on lighting circuit
Was thinking about coding them 4, 2, 2
