I have a problem that's driving us all mad.
3 machines from a school workshop; all been running on 415 3 phase. trying to get them to run in a small workshop on a domestic 240 supply (6mm feed from house). Machines are small pillar drill, small Startrite Inca planer/ thicknesser and a Union...

Just wondered what you thought to this and where the logic is?
25A 30ma RCD with C16A MCB feeding the small CU within the caravan. So far.. So good
In the caravan CU is another 30ma RCD rated at 40A with a 32A MCB for sockets and 6A MCB for lighting.

I've been asked to go out and look at a job - wiring in a Heat Mat to go under some tiles (bathroom I think, but not been out to visit yet.)
Firstly, I've never done one of these before, so any pearls of wisdom would be greatfully received.
Secondly, I'm assuming that a 'Park Home' (static...
Hello
I work for a company that sells new and used caravans.

When we selling caravan i going connect it to house's CCU (if private) or to fuse box on the pitch (if holiday park).

i am starting testing static caravans for foreigners on a farm, with the new condition report sheets. Does a static caravan come under section 721 of the regs or is it section 717. not sure as these caravans could not be towed by a car and would need transported by a lorry.
I've picked up some work doing maintenance on a caravan site. The caravan's are what I would class as static but are all fed via a small 30ma RCD protected enclosure onto a 16a single phase BS4343 socket which has to be 30ma protected because its less than 20A.
The supply is for 5 caravan on a...

Hi all,
quick question to anyone out there, I am in the process of fitting x3 heaters in a static caravan. Each heater is 2000w. I calculate a 2.5mm ring being sufficient for these with a 13A fused spur for each. Do you agree? I am taking into consideration that in the deepest cold winter these...

Can anyone clarify why some manufactures (of static caravans) use FP200 for their wiring while others use T+E. Also if I have to install extra Sockets, Heaters, Lights, etc. should I use FP or T+E.
