Got a four tread pair approx 3 months ago and they are excellent. The Stanley and Dewalt are identical bar slightly different trays on the top and a £60 price difference. Hence I got the Stanley ones!!
The top platform is massive to stand on and is at the right height to change lights on 3...

I just wondered what others think of keeping fibre glass steps on the roof rack.I see a lot of vans with them on the top but but I would have thought weather would cause corrosion and also danger of having them nicked.I keep mine in the van but they take up a lot of space.
Started getting the train into central London where I work. Most of the time I am at one site for a few weeks at a time so I put my site box in there. But sometimes I pop round to a few jobs need a small compact set of steps a bit taller than a hop up.
Mine fell onto the floor yesterday when shutting the van rear door, the top step broke to bits and left the steps useless.
As they are in perfect condition other wise I emailed Abru for a replacement top step.
Delivered for a £10!! Much better than new steps that are £85+vat for the big ones I...

5)use...
