Trying to diagnose a street light, a Thorn Beta 5 with 35W SOX lamp. Replaced the lamp and the fuse, went to turn it on and it came on for a couple of seconds trying to light up than blew the fuse.

160m long
all lamp evenly set out
now i am thinking that volt drop will be worked out by
1st lamp 350w (7 lamps) 20metres
2nd lamp 300w (6 lamps) 40metres
3rd lamp 250w (5 lamps)...
