Now I'm not sure it's compatible. The lights are low 12v the pir is a 240v input. Will it work anyway or

Trying to work out power supply for LED strip lights.
12v DC with a wattage of 9.6w per Meter. There is 5m in total.
Am I correct in saying its just the general rule of 230v to work it out. I.e....
48w/12v = 4amp.
Got a home cinema to do with the above not sure on exact model but fitting dimmable led strip and maybe some colour changing too.
What do ppl reccomend not fitted led strip before but want something very high quality.
Lutron needs 40w per channel but you can buy synthetic resistor and works best...

I have just woken up to an email detailing this problem. I fitted 6 LED (dimmable) downlighters with a trailing edge dimmer into a living room.

Who has been caught out on a call out and they had no fuse wire for a 3036. I remember one having to find the nearest wilkos? wondered what others have experienced?
Call out, customer says his down stairs lights trip out after only being on for a max of ten minuets. Once the mcb is reset it trips about 5 minuets later and after that only a few minuets?
